The 15-story, 360,000-sf office building is slated for completion this month and was designed by the Annapolis, MD-based architecture firm of Boggs & Partners in conjunction with Bohlin Cywinski & Jackson. DPR Construction is a California-based firm that specializes in projects for high-tech firms while Toronto-based Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce is a full-service financial institution operating primarily in Canada and the US, as well as in the West Indies, Europe and Asia.
The building, located on Fairview Lake, features a three-story glass atrium and 22,000 sf column-free floor plates. It also includes terraces on the 14th and 15th floors that offer views of both the metropolitan area and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Fairview Park, located near the Beltway and interstates 66 and 50, is also home to General Dynamics, IBM, MicroStrategy, Hitachi, Computer Sciences Corp., Verizon and Booz, Allen & Hamilton.
Also located in the park is the Fairview Park Marriott, a four-star, 450-room, full-service hotel, which provides extensive conference facilities and multiple restaurants. Fairview Park, when completed, will accommodate approximately 3.5 million sf of office, hotel and retail space.
