"Sales for Phase Two started in the beginning of February, and we sold six of the 26 townhouses during the opening weekend. There is a lot of activity and it's very exciting," said Barbara Adelizzi, the sales manager at Kensington Woods and a sales associate in the Danbury office of Coldwell Banker.
After four months of sales, Phase One was completely sold out, Coldwell Banker officials say. The two-bedroom townhouses in Phase Two range in size from 1,288 sf to 1,650 sf and are priced starting at $209,900.
In citing reasons for the fast pace of sales, Adelizzi noted, "People are attracted to the community's excellent design and maintenance-free lifestyle. Kensington Woods' location, just minutes away from I-84, makes it perfect for commuting to Stamford, White Plains and Manhattan."
Kensington Woods' developer Building and Land Technology is owned and operated by Carl Kuehner III, Paul Kuehner and Carl Kuehner, Jr. The company was recognized by the Home Builders Association of Connecticut as Connecticut Builder of the Year in 1999 for its achievements at Sterling Woods in Danbury, a new community of 358 detached homes and townhouses that recently sold out. The company in the past 25 years has built or developed approximately 1,000 homes in the Danbury area.
