According to Casey Veach of the Irving Group, inking the deal wasn't easy because Foundry Networks is a new company. "Foundry has a multi-million dollar agreement with AOL-Time Warner, but as a young company, they were still heavily scrutinized by property owners," says Veatch, a leasing agent.
The sales facility, which will be completed this month, will house a test bed, training lab and conferencing capabilities. Headquartered in San Jose, CA, Foundry Networks manufactures end-to-end switches and routers for the Internet. Foundry Network's California based executives were able to track the facility's progress on the project specific Website created by Irving Group.
Based in Fairfax, VA, Irving Group provides development, transaction, project and facilities management.
