Known as the Buena Park Commerce Plaza, the multi-tenant complex is situated on eight acres. The two three-story buildings are located at 6301 Beach Blvd. and 6280 Manchester Blvd.
"This purchase is an exciting addition to our portfolio of suburban office and multi-tenant industrial product in high demand areas of Southern California," says Bob Anderson, co-chairman and president of Birtcher Real Estate Group. "The city of Buena Park is the center of much economic activity, as demonstrated by a projected job growth rate of 21.7% in the next four years."
At present, the plaza is 90% occupied with 50 tenants, including Con-Way Transportation Services of CNF Inc. and Wescom Credit Union. In the past two years Birtcher's portfolio in SoCal has grown to more than 1.5 million sf.
Marc Renard of Cushman & Wakefield's Los Angeles office represented both parties in the transaction. Birtcher Property Services, an affiliate of Birtcher Real Estate Group, will provide property management and leasing services for the project.
