The 21,000-sf space was formerly occupied STEP Technology and Bond Nexus. WaMu leased the space from Equity Office Properties. Peter B. Truex of the Staubach Company represented Washington Mutual. Specifics of the lease weren't immediately available.

While Washington Mutual has its own tower in town, the bank also occupies space in Century Square, the Second & Seneca Building, The Newmark and The Financial Center. All told, the bank occupies approximately 900,000 sf in the downtown area.
