WASHINGTON, DC-A dozen hotels will get new names following a $70 million renovation by Millennium Hotels and Resorts. The 12 hotels, formerly owned by Regal and bought by Millennium in 1999, are located across the country.
The renamed hotels are Millennium Hotel, Anchorage, AK, formerly the Regal Alaskan; Millennium Bostonian Hotel, Boston, MA, formerly the Regal Bostonian; Millennium Hotel, Boulder, CO, formerly the Regal Harvest House; Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel, Chicago, formerly the Regal Knickerbocker; Millennium Hotel, Cincinnati, OH, formerly the Regal Cincinnati; Millennium Hotel, Durham, NC formerly the Regal University; Millennium Biltmore Hotel, Los Angeles, formerly the Regal Biltmore; Millennium Hotel, Minneapolis, MN, formerly the Regal Minneapolis; Millennium Hotel, New York, Broadway, formerly the Millennium Broadway; Millennium Hotel, New York, UN Plaza, formerly the Regal UN Plaza; Millennium Hotel, St. Louis, MO, formerly the Regal Riverfront; Millennium Resort, Scottsdale, AZ, McCormick Ranch, formerly Regal McCormick Ranch.
