The preliminary filing in US Bankruptcy court did not list any claims or creditors against US Office Products. A meeting for creditors is scheduled April 26. US Office Products is based in Washington, DC.
The sale of the furniture division, to Corporate Express, is expected to be completed by summer. Rainen Business Interiors was established by Mike Rainen in 1972. It has been a wholly owned subsidiary of US Office Products since 1997.
