For this town, which is just outside the city of Boston, the development of a major chain hotel here provides a real boon to the local economy and to its tourism potential. The hotel project was helped along by Massachusetts Governor Paul Cellucci's recent commitment to build an exit road from the Crown Colony Office Park to the Southeast Expressway.

The new road is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2004 will be be built with $19 million in state and federal money. In addition, Flatley and other local businesses in the Park will reportedly pay $1.6 million for the design of the road.

The hotel will include a restaurant, a pub, a health club, pool, spa, ballroom and conference rooms in addition to 465 single and double occupancy units. There will also be 500 parking spaces.
