Catellus secured all the necessary entitlements prior to the sale of the property, says Tiffany Bohee, an assistant project manager on the Mission Bay projects for the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency.
"Signature and Riding … still have to provide the required pre-construction along with construction documents and the permits necessary to begin," says Bohee, "but it's reasonable to believe that they could get in the ground and secure the necessary documents by the third quarter of this year."
Bohee also said there are currently more than seven development projects in various stages at Mission Bay in San Francisco. The seven projects combined include more than 1,400 residential units.
