He also will continue to be involved in the development of United's best-practices facilities management goals and will oversee the growth and development of the facility services team.
"As companies become more focused on their core capabilities, they are increasingly outsourcingfacilities management functions to external experts such as United Properties," Torrance says.
Torrance joined United Properties in 1998 as senior manager, corporate real estate services. Previously he worked in management positions with Rollerblade, Inc., The Shidler Group and The Paramount Group.
