The law firm of Gaw Van Male Smith Myers & Miroglio is part owner of the new three-story building and will move from its current location across the street to the top floor of the new building. The move is part of the firm's expansion throughout the Bay Area. Last year it opened and office in Vacaville, a third addition to the Napa headquarters and the office in Fairfield. In addition the firm has grown to 21 attorneys and plans have been made to hire two to five more lawyers in the next year.

Sources at the firm attribute its growth to the high volume of business in Napa relative to a small population. The wine industry accounts for 20% of the firm's business.
