Yahoo Subleasing New Campus Building

SUNNYVALE, CA-The Internet media giant now says it will sublease one of the five buildings comprising its new 800,000-sf campus here. It also is seeking a sublease tenant for 250,000 sf it vacated to occupy the new campus.

SUNNYVALE, CA-Yahoo Inc. says it will occupy only four of the five buildings that comprise its new 800,000-sf campus here. The Internet media giant is said to be seeking a two- to five-year term for the space and also a sublease tenant for 215,000 sf in its headquarters city of Santa Clara.

“Although there is a lot of speculation concerning Yahoo office space, the lay-off has nothing to do with the sublease space available,” a source tells GlobeSt. “Yahoo had already planned to move from its 310,000 sf Santa Clara building into its new office building.”
