The 30-story Anadarko Tower is being built on the edge of Lake Robbins and will be completed in spring 2002. The tower will house about 1,000 employees and bring the company's occupancy in the Woodlands office market up to 1.1 million sf. The company currently leases 130,000 sf in Waterway Plaza One and subleases 232,000 sf in the Exxon/Mobil Tower, also in the Woodlands. All of the Anadarko offices in the Woodlands are within walking distance from each other.

Anadarko, one of the largest oil and gas production companies in the world, is relocating its international headquarters from Houston's Greenspoint area. The Woodlands is a 27,000-acre, master-planned community. It is a development of The Woodlands Operating Co., a joint venture of Morgan Stanley Partnership and Crescent Real Estate Equities Co.
