The mail-only ballots will be sent to voters in the next few days. If approved, the bond measure would cost property owners approximately 32 cents for each $1,000 of assessed value.

Cheney Stadium, the home of the city's Triple-A baseball franchise (now affiliated with the Seattle Mariners) would receive $5 million for major improvements that would help to keep the team in town.
Also receiving assistance from the bond issue would be the historic Pantages Theater, a downtown landmark seeking to accommodate more arts events.
