Wassey left Codina after the company recently merged two operating units--Codina Realty Services and Codina Real Estate Management--into a new real estate services group and appointed John B. Geisen as the new president. While there, Wassey managed a commercial portfolio totaling over 10 million sf.

In his new position, Wassey will also focus on new business development out of the company's Miami offices. The company expects to capitalize on Wassey's extensive experience in institutional financial reporting and strategic planning.
