Edina Realty Signs 75,000-SF, 10-Year Lease

EDINA, MN-The firm will move 175 employees from nearby offices to the Edina Realty Building at 6800 France Ave. South by the end of the year. Edina Realty will occupy an additional 25,000 sf of the building.

EDINA, MN-Edina Realty, the Midwest’s largest residential real estate firm, recently signed a 75,000-sf lease at Southdale Office Centre. The residential real estate and relocation firm says it plans to move 175 employees and sales associates of the Edina Realty office located at 4015 W. 65th Street to the Edina Realty Building at 6800 France Ave. South by the end of the year.

Edina Realty signed a 10-year lease agreement to occupy the additional 25,000 sf of the building where it already has its headquarters. The terms were not disclosed. Edina Realty management and corporate staff; Edina Realty Title; their parent company, HomeServices.com; and portions of Edina Realty Mortgage, now occupy 52,000 sf of the building.

Edina Realty has occupied the 65th Street facility since 1979 and the lease was up in December 2000, says Arne Rovick, vice chairman of Edina Realty.
