The 10,000-sf project within the existing 78,000-sf resort and spa will be completed in the fall. The ski village is located 100 miles west of Denver.

The Aria Spa & Club will be centered on what is known as the "Sanctuary," which includes a two-sided stone fireplace, wood-beam vaulted ceiling, over-size chairs and chaise lounges. The spa and club also will feature spa boutiques and fitness retail stores, including tea and juice bars. An athletic facility, boasting a state-of-the-art weight room and cardiovascular equipment, will be built.

Also coming are 14 treatment rooms for massage, body, facial and hydrotherapy treatments, specialty footbath treatments and customized whirlpool bath treatments and five manicure-pedicure stations. The renovation calls for indoor and outdoor whirlpools, aromatherapy steam rooms and upgraded locker rooms. A couple's spa suite will be incorporated into the design. Complementing the upcoming changes will be an on-site nursery and Kid's Club program for children from four months to 12 years old.
