The property includes the 87-year-old catholic school building, the parish center next door and several outbuildings. The company plans to begin renovating the 87-year-old school in the spring of 2002.

The front of the school building fronting Bond Street will become the brewpub. Classrooms will become three guest rooms, as will several small outbuildings on the property. The former teachers' lounge will become a wedding suite. The parish center will become a venue for live music, theater and movies.

McMenamins Pubs and Breweries is a privately held corporation owned Brian and Mike McMenamin. The brothers began converting existing buildings into brewpubs in the mid-1970s and now own and operate more than 40 properties in Oregon and Washington.
