Grand Beekman, a joint project of developer Izak Senbahar and architect Costas Kondylis, will feature 89 one- through four-bedroom residences. The tower will be the first luxury tower within the enclave in more than 25 years. Ultra-luxury is the prevailing theme, with details like hand-laid herringbone patterned mahogany flooring with ebony borders, German Dura marble countertops and custom limestone bathrooms. A model kitchen and bathroom are on display at the Sales & Design Center at 890 First Ave.

Senbahar's other development credits include 353 Central Park West and the Elektra at 290 Third Ave. The Grand Beekman condominiums are priced from $575,000 to $4.75 million.

The Lincoln Building's new conference center will be contiguous with the newly renovated law library, just off the building's Madison Avenue Arcade. The center will seat 30 people and feature teleconferencing capabilities, high-speed Internet access and audiovisual services as well as a pantry area. The space will be available to tenants on a reservation basis.
