The construction firm will provide general contracting services on the project for tenant improvements to a newly constructed building, turning it into a three-story adult entertainment center and restaurant. Dave & Buster's will be a major tenant of the new shopping center, which is currently under construction. The cost of the 44,000-sf facility is $6.5 million.

"As a primary contractor for Dave & Buster's, we enjoy the opportunity to use our imaginations in building structures, which are designed to entertain," says Dennis Reyling, president of R.D. Olson Construction.

Designed by Texas-based Melvin R. Fain Architects Inc., the new Dave & Buster's will feature a rooftop dining area overlooking Waikiki Beach and the Pacific Ocean, as well as the usual billiard tables, pinball, interactive and arcade games.

With construction beginning last month, the project should be completed by summer 2001.
