At the Houston offices of Kennedy-Wilson, Bowlin is charged with overseeing brokerage operations. He will direct the leasing and marketing strategies for office, industrial, retail and medical properties in the region. Bowlin previously had headed up project leasing for the firm's estimated 7.5-million sf Houston portfolio.

Bowlin tells GlobeSt.com that he joined Fults Realty Corp. in 1993. Fults had been acquired by Kennedy-Wilson in October 1998. While at Kennedy-Wilson, Bowlin has been responsible for more than 40 million sf of production, closing more than $200 million in lease transactions for property owners.

Bowlin says he will continue the client service that has catapulted Kennedy-Wilson into the city's fourth-largest brokerage firm. The firm has gone from managing 4.5 million sf to 7.5 million sf in the past 1 1/2 years. And, he hopes to increase this market share by continuing the practice of bringing seasoned professionals into the firm.
