Organized by the Washington State Chapter of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), GreenWorld 2001 is a one-day community forum on "sustainable'' design created to explain and discuss a variety of design methods. IIDA is a professional networking and educational association committed to enhancing the quality of life through excellence in interior design.
The program will feature an interactive panel discussion entitled ``Greenwashing: When Green Isn't Green'' moderated by Neil Frankel, AIA, FIIDA. Panelists will include Penny S. Bonda, Gail Vittori, Michael L. Italiano, and Lawrence W. Umstadter. A product exhibit will explain manufacturers' present sustainable production processes and practices.
The GreenWorld 2001 program will conclude with presentations by L. Hunter Lovins and Janine M. Benuus - two leading environmental experts and authors.
