Frank Boccanfuso of FMB Real Estate Services LLC reports that Fano has signed a 10-year lease and will occupy space on the second floor of the 122,000-sf office building. FMB Real Estate Services represented the owner, Phoenix Capital Partners LLC. Patricia Valenti and Steven Makovsky of Cushman & Wakefield negotiated for Fano.
The firm will relocate its operations from 411 West Putnam Ave. in Greenwich where it occupies approximately 5,000 sf of space. It has been paying $40 per sf in Greenwich, which will come down to $28 per sf to $29 per sf at its new location.
The Fano lease is the sixth lease transaction secured at RiverView at Purchase, formerly known as 287 Bowman Ave., since Phoenix Securities acquired the building in April 2000. Since then, the property's occupancy rate has soared from 17% to 70%, Boccanfuso says.
