Lawyers take Helical Bar's EC1 scheme

Linklaters has taken a pre-letting on Helical Bar's 95,000 sq ft office development at 3 Bunhill Row, London EC1, in the City of London's northern fringe.

Linklaters was advised by DTZ Debenham Tie Leung, and will use the building as overspill space from its nearby head office at 1 Silk Street, London EC2.

Last year Helical Bar, headed by the flamboyant developer Mike Slade, struck a similar deal when it pre-let its project at 25 Chiswell Street, London EC1 to law firm Slaughter & May.
