The company conducted a preliminary zip code analysis of all its Summit-based employees and found that the most convenient location for the majority of them would be within a 20-mile radius of its current location.

Richard F.X. Johnson, senior vice president of development at Matrix Development Group, sees his firm's involvement with Novartis Consumer Health as a challenge. "We will bring to bear our experience in all elements of the entire relocation process--workplace strategies, floor plate efficiency analyses and construction experience--in identifying the real estate solution that provides the most value for Novartis Consumer Health and its employees," he says.The company plans to make a space selection by mid-summer of this year and complete the relocation process by early summer 2002.
