BOSTON-Davis Cos. is planning to develop two buildings in the Charles River Park complex here that it purchased last June for $76.2 million. Together they reportedly have approximately 450,000 sf of commercial space. The mixed-use complex is already home to office buildings at 100 Charles River Place and 75 Blossom Court as well as a 950-car parking garage. Unconfirmed reports put the cost of the project at $100 million, the largest project Davis, a locally based firm, has taken on.

If the proposal is approved, the development will include a 350,000-sf, six-story office building that would be built on top of a two-story retail strip and a former movie theater. The other building would be five stories and have 90,000 sf of space.
