Vancouvercenter's first phase consists of an 11-story office building with top-floor condos and two smaller apartment buildings. A seven-story apartment building, due late next year, will be the first project completed.
The office building and second apartment building are scheduled for completion in the first half of 2003. If all goes well, a second phase could add another office building topped with more condos.
Work at the site stopped in February after its developers decided to add 130 spaces to a planned 750-slip underground garage. That decision forced changes to other parts of the structure, which in turn meant new permits would be needed.
