Entries from around the world were judged on content, creativity, design, audience appropriateness and overall effectiveness.

Awards were presented in five categories, including brochures, print advertising, newsletters, manuals and non-print advertising.

Corporate Woods officials hired local designers Cowan & Gorman to develop its Web site. The site lists leasing information and information about the park, as well as information about the park's tenants. Corporate Woods also posts information about a variety of services offered to tenants, from concierge services to events, such as the regional Art in the Woods show.

"We were very happy to have received a second place award last year for our newsletter," says Corporate Woods general manager Marlys Polson, "but we are ecstatic to win first for the website this year. The website is a piece we've worked hard on all year to keep fresh and innovative.''

Corporate Woods consists of 300 wooded acres and more than 2 million sf of office space housed in 23 buildings. Tenants include Sprint and Black & Veatch.

The park is managed by MC Real Estate Services Inc., a company that manages more than 10 million sf of office and industrial space in the metropolitan area. MC Real Estate Services has more than 100 employees and is headquartered at 1004 Baltimore in Downtown Kansas City.
