GEA will take 7,073 sf of gross industrial space in the building. GEA of Texas is a Houston-based high-technology distributor.
Built in 1982, the industrial warehouse has 62,456 sf with 14-foot clear heights and floor plates ranging from 3,000 sf to 5,000 sf. The space leases for approximately 50 cents per sf. Doug Bates of Grubb & Ellis Co. is the representative for GEA in the pact. James Gallagher has acted for his firm, the building owner, Warehouse Associates.
Heading inside the loop, Occucenters I LP has renewed 8,556 sf of industrial space at 1000 N. Post Oak Rd. Property owner, Insite Commercial Real Estate, has used in-house broker Kris Van Norma to negotiate the pact. Doug Nicholson of Grubb & Ellis is the broker for Occucenters.
Occucenters' new spot is a stand-alone building constructed in 1982. It is one-story structure with 12-foot clear heights. Based in Dallas, Occucenters partners with hospitals to operate occupational medical centers.
