The new West Parc development will include 120,000 sf of new office space, 820 apartments, a 50-patient Alzheimer care home and a fitness center. The developments, in response to growth in the region, will reportedly double the total developed square footage at Bethany Village.

The apartment portion of the project breaks down to 540 market-rate apartments with an accompanying clubhouse and recreational facilities, a retirement community with 200 apartments for independent living and 80 for assisted living, and a residential care center for Alzheimer patients. The office portion of the project will come in four new class A office buildings.

The Kims could not immediately be reached for comment Tuesday morning. The first apartments are expected to open next spring. The part of the retirement community is slated for occupancy in the summer of 2002. The office space will be developed as tenants are signed.
