KANSAS CITY-Skip Hutton, president of The Builders’ Association, is retiring as president of the association as well as executive director of the Associated General Contractors of America’s Kansas City chapter. He will be succeeded by Dan Morgan, who assumes both positions July 1.
Hutton has been affiliated with The Builder’s Association for nearly 22 years. Morgan has been an employee of the builder’s group since 1986. Hutton was named president of The Builder’s Association in 1986 when he succeeded his father, James L. Hutton.
The Builder’s Association represents more than 900 general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers who work in the commercial construction industry in Kansas City, nearby Kansas counties and throughout central and western Missouri. Locally, the builder’s chapter represents more than 100 general contractors and 50 associate members.
