Fluor GlobalServiceSM is a business unit of Fluor Corp. that provides solutions for optimizing the lifecycle of clients' capital assets, including plant engineering, operations and maintenance, program and asset management, industrial equipment and tools and property services.
Rockwell Automation is a business arm of Rockwell International Corp. that specializes in bringing together leading brands of industrial automation, including Dodge mechanical power transmission products, Reliance Electric motors and drives, Allen-Bradley® controls and Rockwell Software®.
The alliance will provide customers the expertise of the two firms in solving a wide range of plant maintenance, repair and asset management challenges. "The unique and complementary strengths of both companies will provide Rockwell Automation with increased opportunities to meet our customers' service needs, in addition to creating growth potential for our business," says Joseph D. Swann, president of Rockwell Automation.
The alliance was formed in response to what the companies perceive to be a growing customer demand for single-source, comprehensive solutions to manufacturing problems.

William Leistner, president of Fluor Global Services. "The alliances enables us to tap the extensive experience, products and services that our two companies can provide.
Last year Fluor Corporation's revenues totaled $10 billion on a global basis in the fields of engineering, procurement, construction, operations, maintenance, project management and business services.
Rockwell International is a $7.5 billion company, specializing in electronic controls and communications with a global position in industrial automation, avionics and communications and electronic commerce.
