According to Scott Botel-Barnard, director of residential development and construction for Minno & Wasko of Lambertville, NJ, the development his firm is designing will consist of some 27,360 sf of office and retail space, 46 condo units and a total of 194 duplex, single-family and townhouses, all to be developed by Westminster Communities. The other community, already under construction, is being built by Sharbell Development.

Reflective of the push toward smart growth development, both communities will put a major emphasis on pedestrian traffic, with all homes more closely nested and closer to the street. In keeping with the traditional small-town feel, office space will largely be located on the second floor of retail facilities, Botel-Barnard explains.
