In the larger of the two transactions, a Canadian manufacturer signed a $3.3 million lease for industrial space in Irwindale. According to the terms of the 10-year lease, the tenant will take 57,920 sf in the newly completed 110,000-sf Irwindale Distribution Center. The building stands at 6230 N. Irwindale Ave.
The tenant, Roma Moulding, will be relocating from a nearby site in Irwindale. The company is planning to occupy its new space in June.
Sally Matthews, of Caldwell Realty, represented Roma Moulding, a maker of high-end decorative wooden moldings. Jim Center and Bob Moffatt, of Grubb & Ellis' San Gabriel Valley office, represented the landlord, LA-based On Irwindale LLC.
Separately, an aerospace-related firm acquired an 11,058-sf industrial facility in Chatsworth. The company, SIE, paid more than $1 million for the building, which is located at 9525 Vassar Ave.
Craig Weisman, of TOLD Partners, represented SIE. Mike Woods, of Grubb & Ellis, represented the sellers, private investors Mr. and Mrs. Cooke.
