The City Council on May 17 will vote on a series of goals and objectives to be reached over the next six months. Elected leaders and city staff unveiled a laundry list of the priorities this week, but will formally prioritize them at the council meeting.
Economic development projects include plans to package industrial projects in the Rancho del Oro and Ocean Ranch areas. The city also wants to attract a major development to its section of the Coast Highway.
Another goal is a beach resort, of the type proposed by San Diego developer Douglas Manchester.
City officials will review progress on the goals and objectives monthly.
