Located along the Santa Ana Freeway (I-5) in the La Mirada Gateway Corporate Center at 14241 Firestone Blvd., the four-story, steel-framed structure was acquired in an unusual financial structure by the CT Realty, a real estate investment and development firm. In that financial arrangement, CT Realty purchased the note on the landmark property from City National, and then structured a new partnership with the building's former owners Gateway Center Associates.

Fremont Investment and Loan funded a new loan for CT Realty as the new general partner, providing the capital and expertise for needed renovations of the building.
