"Our firm has received over 60 solid inquiries so far," says Terry Matthews, who is listing the 487,295-sf building with fellow Fuller and Co. broker Art Seiden. "And we have just begun to advertise it nationally," he adds.
Locally, it is gaining even more interest because it sits next to Denver's Union Station. The Regional Transportation District has earmarked Union Station as a transportation hub for the Denver metro area.
"Nearly 120,000 people come to downtown Denver, Monday through Friday to work, not counting the many other popular business, retail, entertainment, cultural and sports attractions, Matthews says. "In real estate location is everything. This postal property is prime real estate."
The five-story building was built in 1960. It includes 36,210 sf of enclosed platform docking space. Fuller also is listing an adjacent, long-term ground lease parking lot of 80,315 sf. No price has been placed on the property. Fuller is offering informational tours of the property and building to prospective buyers.
