The Snohomish County properties are highlighted by a 39-acre rural development site with one million board feet of timber just south of the town of Granite Falls. Also, the county has placed a five- acre apartment site in Everett that could accommodate up to 72 units. Three residential development tracts located in Smokey Point, Sultan and Granite Falls complete the county's auction package.

According to Patsy Danhof, Snohomish County's Property Administrator, the Snohomish County properties have been designated surplus to the County's operations and are being offered in a multi-state auction campaign so we can expand the base of buyers.

Portland-based Realty Marketing/Northwest is acting as the auction marketing consultant with all bids to be submitted directly to Snohomish County's Property Management Department on May 18th. Danhof said the county participated in two similar auctions last year.
