The CCDC, which functions as a clearinghouse for information on dozens of Downtown projects. A spokesperson says the extra space is needed to cope with the growing number of inquiries from businesses and visitors.

Highlighting the new space is a scale model of the Downtown area. Other exhibits include plans and renderings of the massive ballpark-area redevelopment project.

The office also offers videos and pamphlets about Downtown projects and free bus tours of the area on the third Saturday of every month. Other events are planned in the near future, according to CCDC officials.

The new CCDC office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Its phone number is (619) 235-2222.
