CCDC Gets More Breathing Space

SAN DIEGO-Centre City Development Corp., the agency that coordinates Downtown projects, moves into roomier quarters near Horton Plaza.

SAN DIEGO—The Centre City Development Corp. has moved into roomier digs within the former Home Savings Tower building at 225 Broadway, not far from Horton Plaza.

The CCDC, which functions as a clearinghouse for information on dozens of Downtown projects. A spokesperson says the extra space is needed to cope with the growing number of inquiries from businesses and visitors.

Highlighting the new space is a scale model of the Downtown area. Other exhibits include plans and renderings of the massive ballpark-area redevelopment project.
