Largest Terminal on U.S.-Mexico Border Opens

LAREDO, TX-Consolidated Freightways has cut the ribbon on the largest terminal along the US-Mexico border. The 51,000-sf warehouse boasts 93 truck doors and 5,200 sf of office space. Some two million pounds will pass through the site each day.

LAREDO,TX-Consolidated Freightways has opened the largest transportation terminal along the US-Mexico border.

The 51,000-sf warehouse is located at 13145 S. Unitec Dr. in the Unitec Industrial Park, 13 miles north of Laredo. The terminal has 93 doors and 5,200 sf of office space. About 100 people will be employed to handle the estimated two million pounds of freight that will be offloaded and on-loaded daily at the site.
