The Troy planning commission approved a preliminary site plan for a 358,000-sf warehouse/distribution and/or processing facility on a 34.7-acre site, providing the eventual user of the site uses back roads for truck traffic. Principal Planner Mark Miller had said the potential tenant of the building is the US Postal Service.
The site is west along Bellingham Drive, in an area south of Big Beaver Road. It consists of a portion of the proposed Big Beaver Business Park. Liberty is the developer for the project. Shea says the company is seeking other tenants for the sale.
