The facility, which Boston Properties purchased about two and a half years ago, is located at the intersection of Route 128 and Route 20 on the Waltham/Weston line close to the Massachusetts Turnpike and about 15 minutes from downtown Boston. Among the building's offerings are 50,000-sf floor plates which according to Bryan Koop, senior vice president and regional manager for Boston Properties, are exactly what tenants are looking for in this market.
"It's very efficient," he tells GlobeSt.com. "It's very difficult to get that size floor plate in Waltham and it is right in line with what tenants today are looking for." Additional amenities include flexible layouts for private office or open landscape planning, a full-service café and a fitness facility.
Boston Properties is a self-administered and self-managed REIT which owns and develops Class A properties in four core markets – Boston, New York City, Washington DC and San Francisco.
