NORFOLK, VA-Hunter Management will serve as the owner’s representative in charge of Zim-American Israeli Shipping Co.’s relocation from New York’s World Trade Center to a 45,000-sf office building being constructed here. Construction will begin soon on the building, which will be located in the Lake Wright Office Complex.
After being named owner’s representative last month, Hunter has been involved in assisting with site location, picking a construction team and developing plan to relocate Zim-American employees, including an estimated 50 upper-level managers. The company’s new two-story, steel-framed building was designed by Norfolk architect Randi Lyall, president of Lyall Design Architects. It will be situated on a corner site in the 225,000-square-foot office park.
