Psychiatric Facility Fetches $6.4 Mil

ORANGE COUNTY, CA-A group of private investors has purchased the former Charter Behavioral Hospital and will operate the site for the building's new tenant, the county's Health Department.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA-A Mission Viejo psychiatric facility has been sold to a group of private investors in a deal valued at $6.4 million.

The property, at 23228 Madero, is the former home of Charter Behavioral Hospital. The 80-bed psychiatric facility closed its doors in October 1999 as part of a restructuring by its former owner, Crescent Operating Inc., which subsequently sold the property to a private group of investors known as Red Dog Properties LLC.
