Frye, who will operate out of the company's Seattle office, spent 13 of the last 17 years with Grubb & Ellis where he was involved in investment brokerage, institutional services and financial services. He joined G&E in 1984 as a vice president in the investment properties division.

Following a three-year stint as a vice president at the Shidler Group, he returned to Grubb & Ellis as senior vice president in the investment properties division. He served as managing director of the institutional services group from 1995 to 1997, before becoming president of the financial services group in 1997.
