Factory-2-U is a value discount retailer for clothing, home goods, gifts, footwear and domestic items. Factory-2-U is leasing the retail space from Weingarten Realty Investors.Weingarten has used in-house broker Sarah Ellis in the negotiations. W. Loch Cook of Boyd Page has represented Factory 2-U.

In another retail lease, Famous Footwear, a Madison, WI-based footwear retailer, is taking 12,000 sf at Fairway Plaza. Trammell Crow Co. owns the plaza at the southeast corner of Beltway 8 South and Fairmont Parkway in Pasadena. Trammell Crow has used in-house broker Matt Keener while Edward F. Page and Jim R. Smith of Boyd Page have represented Famous Footwear.

Famous Footwear currently has more than 930 stores nationwide, including 18 Houston locations. According to Boyd Page, Famous Footwear is in the midst of a Houston expansion and will be opening superstores ranging from 10,000 sf to 12, 000 sf.
