In one deal, the locally based general contractor sold the newly completed class A office studios it leased earlier this year for WPTV-Channel 5, the city's NBC affiliate. Scripps Howard Broadcasting Co., the station's parent, paid $16.9 million or $260 per sf for the two-story, 65,000-sf building.

The deal with Scripps Howard then enabled Catalfumo to negotiate the $7.2 million sale of the TV station's existing leased-studio site to Bonita Springs, FL-based Watermark Communities Inc., which plans to build a 15-story condominium project on that site.

Randall Greene, Catalfumo director of development, and Dan Catalfumo, company founder and president, brokered the deals.

The construction completion of the new TV studios in March included a two-story parking garage and a 110-foot clock tower.
