The class A property is located at 15165 Ventura Blvd. Douglas Emmett already owns two other buildings on the same stretch of road. Mani Brothers was unloading the property because it's outside the company's core geographic area.

"Because Mani Brothers not only owns properties but also leases and manages its own portfolio, we have decided to focus our infrastructure specifically on the Westside and Downtown LA," says Mani Brothers' Joseph Mani. "For the same reason it made sense for us to sell our lone property in the San Fernando Valley, it was sensible for Douglas Emmett to acquire this building which is suited to that firm's geographic focus."

Bob Safai of Madison Partners represented Mani Brothers. Douglas Emmett was represented in-house.
