Developer Lichter Venture Group is marketing the last two spaces in the Caribbean-themed center in the 560-acre master-planned research center at the southwest corner of College Boulevard and Faraday Avenue. The 50,000-sf mixed-use center includes retail, service, a food court and office on 5.5 acres.
Kirk Allison and Vic Gausepohl of Colliers International are handling leasing of the center and have brokered leases in excess of 41,000 sf valued at more than $9.5 million to date, bringing occupancy to 93%.
Readicare, Inc., dba Health South, signed a five-year lease valued at $537,732 for 4,979 sf. Mohr Partners represented the tenant. In another deal, T D Waterhouse signed a five-year lease valued at $378,833 for 2,635 sf. Insignia ESG represented the lessee.
In other deals, Black Swan Florist executed a five-year lease valued at $179,978 for 1,263 sf. Ambassador Real Estate represented the lessee. Papa "C's" Mexican Food signed a five-year lease valued at $141,372 for 587 square feet. Allison and Gausepohl represented the lessee.
Other tenants in the center include 7-Eleven / Citgo, C J de Long's Sports Pub and Grille, US Bank, Carlsbad Open 7-Day Dental, Carl's Jr., and Submarina. Roel Construction Company was the general contractor. James Schmidt, Architects, provided architectural design.
